Tina’s work spans various media. She often takes factual material as her starting point but is just as inspired by archetype, myth and the unexpected. She also enjoys working with young people in a mentoring capacity and shares with them a freshness of storytelling.
Tina’s television drama work includes the first series of the international hit DOWNTON ABBEY (Carnival/ITV, autumn 2010) where Tina’s episode – co-written with series creator Julian Fellowes – featured Lady Sybil involved in a political rally, and HOME FIRES Series 1 (ITV Studios/ITV, 2015).
Tina’s extensive work for radio includes THE SECRET a dramatisation with Sara Davies of Muriel Howard’s unpublished early twentieth century diary for producer Gemma Jenkins / BBC Radio 4’s Writing the Century strand (2016).
Current projects include a television adaptation of Joy Chambers’ World War Two novel NONE BUT THE BRAVE which takes us into the lives of three complex characters across three decades and several continents; a hard-hitting original television drama; and a stage adaptation of Tina’s 2005 drama for Channel 4 History PRINCES IN THE TOWER. A 4-part podcast version of PRINCES IN THE TOWER launches on History Hit on 28th January 2019, with an introduction by Dan Snow.
