Sheila began her writing career as a staff writer for Nelvana (now Corus Entertainment) and quickly went on to carve a niche for herself in the children’s entertainment market. She lives for character-driven stories, cleverly crafted plots and family, and adores the world of children’s television that brings these three together.
Sheila specialises in both animated and live-action preschool series, but dabbles in all age ranges and genres. She has developed, story edited and creative produced various productions, including CHIRP, ROB THE ROBOT II, CAILLOU and ELLA THE ELEPHANT. She has written for over 45 different series, including CORN AND PEG, NINA’S WORLD, KATE & MIM-MIM, JULIUS JUNIOR, THE CAT IN THE HAT KNOWS A LOT ABOUT THAT, SUPER WHY, STELLA & SAM, FRANNY’S FEET and HARRY & HIS BUCKET FULL OF DINOSAURS. Recent Executive Story Editor duties include RICKY ZOOM for EOne Family and MAX AND RUBY VI for Nelvana/Corus.
