Phil Hawkins is an award-winning features and commercials director. He directed his first short film when he was 13 and continued to write, direct and edit shorts and promos regularly to hone his skills as a filmmaker. His shorts include the ambitious THE FLYING LESSON featuring aerial stunts in a WWII biplane and A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BATHROOM MIRROR starring Tim McInnerny (Blackadder, Notting Hill).
He’s also directed five feature films that have all crossed different genres including a classic Greek tragedy, a comedy satire and a psychological thriller. Most notably, Phil wrote and directed THE LAST SHOWING which was released by Sony Pictures and starred Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger), Finn Jones (Game Of Thrones) and Emily Berrington (Humans). The period action/adventure movie THE FOUR WARRIORS was released by Lionsgate in the USA.

2019 saw Phil being able to realise his ‘crazily ambitious’ bold short film STAR WARS: ORIGINS – his love letter to STAR WARS and INDIANA JONES.
