Tina Pepler | Writer
Tina's work spans various media. She often takes factual material as her starting point but is just as inspired by archetype, myth and the unexpected. She also enjoys working with young people in a mentoring capacity and shares with them a freshness of storytelling.
Current television projects include: WENT THE DAY WELL? a drama feature documentary for Tern Television/BBC TV. Other television work includes the first series of the international hit DOWNTON ABBEY (Carnival/ITV, autumn 2010) where Tina's episode - co-written with series creator Julian Fellowes - featured Lady Sybil involved in a political rally.
Tina is currently developing a follow up series to CRISIS her powerful drama about aid workers in South Sudan (BBC Radio 4, 2012, producer Sara Davies), this time working with producer Mary Ward-Lowery.
For the large screen, Tina developed OUTSIDE CHILD a theatrical film adaptation of June Goodfield's memoir RIVERS OF TIME co-written with director Justin Hardy.
Original projects on Tina's development slate include: a theatrical film comedy about sex and intimacy THE SEX FACTOR; ONLY HUMAN, a television drama series; and a novel SISTERS.
