Tina Pepler | Writer
Tina's work spans various media. She often takes factual material as her starting point but is just as inspired by archetype, myth and the unexpected. She also enjoys working with young people in a mentoring capacity and shares with them a freshness of storytelling.
Tina's television work includes the first series of the international hit DOWNTON ABBEY (Carnival/ITV, autumn 2010) where Tina's episode - co-written with series creator Julian Fellowes - featured Lady Sybil involved in a political rally.
Current work includes: a new drama series created by Simon Block for ITV Studios HOME FIRES which is awaiting transmission; and SYRIA: BREAD AND BOMBS - a follow up to CRISIS Tina's powerful 2012 original radio drama about aid workers - which went out on BBC Radio 4 in November 2014 (producer Mary Ward-Lowery).
Tina's development slate includes: a stage adaptation of her 2005 television drama-documentary THE PRINCES IN THE TOWER for producer Justin Hardy as well as various original television drama projects.
