Tina Pepler | Writer

Tina's work for the large screen in 2011 was focussed on OUTSIDE CHILD a theatrical film adaptation of June Goodfield's memoir RIVERS OF TIME with director Justin Hardy.

Tina was pleased to work on the first series of Julian Fellowes' iconic DOWNTON ABBEY (Carnival/ITV, autumn 2010) where her episode - co-written with Julian - featured Lady Sybil involved in a political rally.  The series has just won a Golden Globe Award (January 2012) to add to its previous award tally - a marvellous tribute to Julian Fellowes and the whole team.

Tina's most recent radio play POSITIVE (July 2011) was a drama commissioned by producer Sara Davies as part of BBC Radio 4's long-running series about medical ethics presented by Joan Bakewell INSIDE THE ETHICS COMMITTEE. Other radio work in 2011 was a dramatisation of bestseller DIRECT RED for producer Kate McAll (BBC Radio 4).  This was broadcast as the last ever Friday Play (March 2011).

Late 2010 saw the transmission of Tina's two-part radio version of Christopher Isherwood's GOODBYE TO BERLIN, producer Polly Thomas for Somethin' Else/BBC Radio 4 Classic Serial (tx October 2010).

Tina also continues to develop original projects including: a feature film comedy about sex and intimacy THE SEX FACTOR; ONLY HUMAN, a television drama series; and a novel SISTERS.
