Richard's third radio play LEFT AT MARRAKECH a WW2 story set on a B-17 bomber en route from Florida across the Atlantic for active service and carrying two British hitch-hikers was repeated in May 2010 (original tx 2008, BBC Radio 4 Afternoon Play). Fiona McAlpine produced for Allegra Productions and the play starred Will Keen and Jonathan Cullen.

THE SMALL BACK ROOM an adaptation of Nigel Balchin's World War Two classic thriller, produced by Clive Brill for Pacificus Productions and starring Damian Lewis was repeated in February 2010 (original tx 2008, BBC Radio 4 Saturday Play).

In television, Richard had a long writing partnership with Michael Chappell on DOCTORS for BBC Daytime and together they wrote nearly 30 episodes for this ever popular series.

Richard is now focussing on solo work for radio and television, including both adaptations and original projects.
