Frances' short film CORONATION DAY, a bird's eye view of Queen Elizabeth's coronation by a young Irish Catholic girl was made by Flying Fox Films for BBC Northern Ireland's NORTHERN LIGHTS strand, directed by Tony Knox.

Frances also writes fiction and journalism. She has contributed to BBC Radio 4's Afternoon Story strand, where her work includes SPARKS (Valentine's Day, 2008), produced by Eoin O'Callaghan. She is working on her first novel ANOTHER SHADE OF GREY.

Frances' popular weekly lifestyle column ran in the Saturday edition of the Belfast Telegraph from January – September 2005 and she remains an occasional pithy columnist for the paper.
