Diane has over 30 years of hands-on detective experience, many of them at a senior level. Her informed and insightful perspective on crime is much in demand with television drama producers. She worked closely with Sally Wainwright as co-creator on Red Productions’ hit drama series for ITV SCOTT AND BAILEY which stars Suranne Jones and Lesley Sharp. Series Two has just completed its run and has secured a well-deserved BAFTA nomination in the Best Drama Series category.

Original drama series on Diane’s development slate include OUT OF DARKNESS with Caleb Ranson (ITV Studios). Diane also has a writing partnership with Graham Elleray: their projects include a crime drama CAUGHT IN TIME commissioned by ITV Studios and a stage musical with director Stuart Orme.

Diane also provides regular high-level drama consultancy services, including most recently on the first series of Tiger Aspect’s drama series for BBC1 PRISONERS' WIVES (tx winter/spring 2012).
