JJ (John-Jackson) is a talented director who has also worked as an Artistic Director at the Shaw Theatre, London and is currently Executive Director of the Park Theatre in Finsbury Park, London, having overseen the opening of this new and vibrant theatre. JJ's creative and administrative dynamism alongside Jez Bond has led to The Park winning The Stage Fringe Theatre of the Year Award 2015.
Prior to his tenure at the Shaw theatre, JJ was the Associate Director for the New End Theatre, New Players Theatre and Off West End Theatres Limited. He is Creative Director of the production company Cutting the Strings.
JJ has recently directed the UK Tour of Cissie & Ada - An Hysterical Rectomy based on Les Dawson's classic comedy sketches and career. JJ also directed a new concert work last year and is busy developing new musical theatre projects.

JJ has a keen interest in the classics and new writing and is skilled directing musical theatre and pantomime. He is particularly accomplished at working with musical theatre and recording artists in concert or in 'an audience with' situation.
