Writers & Directors

We work as much as possible in a bespoke way, matching clients to the projects for which they're best suited and vice versa. We're happy both to try and plug a gap for a writer or director at short notice on an existing brand and to work with a production company on a slower burn passion project.

Drama

Our clients work across the board in drama, spanning peak time and day time tv, co-productions and lower budget and studio pictures. We rep senior writers and directors on tentpole brands such as EMMERDALE and EASTENDERS, Lime Pictures' hugely popular early evening soap for Channel 4 HOLLYOAKS and the BBC's daytime soap success DOCTORS as well as other more bespoke projects such as Merlin Films' prize-winning two-parter STARDUST. Film work ranges from larger budget projects e.g. Terry Gilliam's THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS starring the late Heath Ledger where Charles McKeown co-wrote the script with Terry, and shorts on HD such as Eddy Marshall's THE WRECK OF THE MARY CELESTE to rewrites for pictures of all sizes and genres in various territories across the world. Most of our clients are also developing original drama projects; many of them have a production or acting background which is increasingly an advantage.

Children's Programming

First class storytelling skills have no boundaries and we don't believe in ghettoising. While a cluster of our clients regularly work in children's and young people's programming, many of them also cross over into other areas and are developing original ideas for the youth and/or adult markets. We represent top writing and script editing talent on pre-school animation programmes such as KING ARTHUR'S DISASTERS, GORDON THE GARDEN GNOME and TIMMY TIME as well as directing talent on e.g. the last ever series of the iconic GRANGE HILL.

Musical Theatre & Composing

We are pleased to represent talented writers who also work in the musical theatre field and composers for tv and film, such as Laurence Mark Wythe whose musical TOMORROW MORNING won the 2009 Jeff Award in Chicago for Best Midsize Musical.
