SWIMMING LESSONS | Tina Pepler

A radio drama feature exploring the experiences of poet Sally Festing and the death of her anorexic daughter (BBC Radio 4 Friday Play, September 2005, repeated September 2006) . This was produced by Sara Davies.

STARDUST | Paul Walker

Paul's two-part drama about the STARDUST disco fire (Merlin Films for RTE) won 4 awards including Best TV Drama at the Irish Film and Television Awards (February 2007). Originally transmitted in February 2006 for the 25th anniversary of the disaster, the drama had an overwhelming impact in Ireland where memories of the national disaster are still raw. The producer was Norman Siderow and the drama was directed by Ciarán Donnelly.

Gordon The Garden Gnome | Allan Plenderleith

Allan Plenderleith worked his magic in this original series for the BBC aimed at pre-schoolers aged 2 - 6. GORDON GNOME, created by Allan Plenderleith and animated by Collingwood O'Hare Entertainment Ltd., stars the voice of gardening expert and guru Alan Titchmarsh as the ever cheerful green-fingered Gnome.

The series delights and educates girls and boys alike to the fun and adventure to be found in the garden and the great outdoors. So "Let's get mucky!" and join Gordon and his animal friends and gnome neighbours as he sets out to solve the problems in his garden.

The 52 x 11 minute series launched on CBeebies/CBBC in June 2005 and rolled out overseas including the USA, Australia and Germany. Merchandising inclues garden gnomes and DVDs are available.
