Andrew is a composer of unusual versatility for film, TV and theatre. He combines his own distinctive style with a rare melodic gift and an uncanny ability to inhabit a wide variety of genres. Andrew is also an accomplished orchestrator and arranger and has worked on Emmy-winning and BAFTA, Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated projects.
Andrew has recently composed a musical for the English School of Mongolia in workshop with the young people there and is currently working on developing a one-woman show entitled GIRL IN A CRISIS and on his new musicals THE WEIRD LITTLE WORLD OF WILLIAM WILLOW and GABRIEL (written with Nick Stimson) which was performed Christmas 2016 in Southampton. He also composed the music for the ground-breaking App THE GUARDIANS OF ANCORA and has composed music for console games.
Andrew is a skilled composer and orchestrator for film and tv and his latest orchestrations are on three feature films, THE FACE OF AN ANGEL directed by Michael Winterbottom and a Richard Berry film, TOUT TOUT DE SUITE and a film in post-production starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers and John Hurt, directed by Daniel Zelik Berk, DAMASCUS COVER.
July 2014 saw the performance workshop of Andrew’s new cabaret opera THE WEIRD LITTLE WORLD OF WILLIAM WILLOW at Omnibus Clapham which is currently in development and will be recorded in 2016.
Film and TV Credits include orchestrating the Emmy winning score to INTO THE STORM, (also Golden Globe nominated), the BAFTA nominated Film A MIGHTY HEART (starring Angelina Jolie), and the SPICE GIRLS 2008 WORLD TOUR and composing the BBC nature documentary THE GREAT BARRIER REEF (BBC) and HOW THE UNIVERSE WORKS 2 (Discovery Channel).
